Alkali-activated formulation for aquarium substrate applications/FRI

Using alkali-activated solidification technology, formulation materials are blended with biogenic calcium carbonate in varying proportions to produce composite products. Compared with conventional Portland cement, this method achieves approximately 25% of the carbon emissions, significantly reducing greenhouse gas output. By employing biogenic calcium carbonate as a circular resource, the process reduces reliance on high-carbon-footprint materials such as plastics, steel, and ceramics, contributing to sustainable and low-carbon material innovation.
